Zoo2Zoo 2012

By 13 October 2012No Comments

Yesterday I was in Port Macquarie at the New Horizons conference which was all about Resilience, I was one of 3 keynote speakers. It was  an awesome day where, among other things  we did some karate, art therapy and drumming. Not all together and not in that order.

Today I’ve flown to Orange NSW from there I drive to Molong where I’m meeting and giving a talk + a massive thank you to  over 100 + saddle weary cyclists who have ridden over 500kms from Taronga Zoo to Dubbo Zoo to raise funds and awareness for the Black Dog Institute.

So far they’ve raised over $76K.

It’s is the annual Zoo2Zoo ride.

The weather was hellayscious (sp) yesterday – freezing strong winds, snow and black ice. So a truly  incredible effort from a group of people who will be up for a tall beer and a long sleep.
