Ok so I’ve been pretty slack on the ‘updating’ side of things, my only excuse is that I’ve been so busy flogging the new book in the UK. I initially thought that I can do an interview, or a talk, go and have a bite, do some shopping, see a gallery but it was wall to wall media interviews and talks. My publicist had me working like a highly caffinated squirrel.
Not that I am complaining it was an amazing adventure and an incredible response in the UK & Ireland for Quiet The Mind.
It was also great having Ainsley there for the last leg of London, then we kicked onto Paris for 4 days of well needed R&R and nom, nom, nom, nom-ing.
One of the many highlights in the UK was making the banner head on the front page of the London Times and then getting a double page spread article. The funny thing was the photographer was there most of the morning doing various photographs with different lights, camera’s, locations and poses and all they ended up using was a deep etched, teeny tiny pic of me looking portly – I know, the camera never lies.
Now we’re back and living someone else’s life no thanks to jet lag. I had to give a talk at Oracle today and I felt like my brain was half a mile behind what my mouth was saying – it was all a bit David Lynch.
Anyway it’s great to be home.
